The Sci-Fi Club is celebrating its 40th anniversary at Château Hagen for the 12th edition of the Week-End Geek! Enjoy 3 days of free admission dedicated to pop culture and Cthulhu's centenary: special guests, tabletop role-playing games, cosplay, talks, workshops, and entertainment for all.

Organized by the Sci-Fi Club in Nouméa, South Province, the 12th edition of the Week-End Geek (WEG) returns after a two-year hiatus to Chateau Hagen for a free three-day cultural experience. Celebrating the club's 40th anniversary and the centenary of H.P. Lovecraft's The Call of Cthulhu, this iconic event on Mainland New Caledonia explores cosmic horror and pop culture across the Pacific. Open to all, the festival features prestigious international guests including illustrator and concept artist François Launet ("Goomi"), French tabletop role-playing game pioneer Croc, and Brian Holland from Chaosium Inc., the historic publisher of Call of Cthulhu. The program offers: - Games & Tabletop RPGs : Convention, RPG introduction sessions, video games, giant wooden games, and miniature displays. - Culture & Discussions: Writing workshops, conferences, panel discussions, drawing contests, and the #lovecraftober26 challenge. Entertainment & Shows: Steampunk walkabouts and a major Cosplay competition organized with Manga NC. Partner Village & Stands: Shops featuring games, books, and manga. Supported by the South Province, the Mission for Cultural Affairs of New Caledonia, the City of Nouméa, and local partners, this gathering provides an engaging outing for families and friends.
