Description
Spend the night and enjoy a meal in this guest house steeped in history in the village of Moindou!
In Moindou, the historic inn occupies a former coaching house set up by the Messageries Automobiles in the early 1900s, in a village now 140 years old. Marie-Joe, who runs the place, gladly shares the stories that mark the village's history: the oyster-tin frenzy, cattle drives passing through, news carried across the country by travelling pedlars, the wreck of the France. Stopping here grounds the stay in the territory's memory, alongside a night or a meal in the building. The restored rooms compose a stop that takes its time. Book your stop.
“Table d’hôte” dining is for overnight guests only and must be booked in advance.
