Etic NC, based in Mont-Dore (Province Sud, New Caledonia), runs guided tours of Nouméa and its surroundings focused on history and nature. Svetlana Dimitrova, a guide trained in ornithology and local culture, leads the tours in French and English. Options include the history of the capital and its lookouts, Kanak culture at the Tjibaou Cultural Centre, the Zoological and Forest Park, the city's museums or the rainforest of Mont Koghi. Groups travel in one of the agency's three vehicles, seating 6 to 8. Etic NC also provides airport transfers, and dedicated cruise passenger tours can be booked 24 hours in advance.
