The bandstand is located in the heart of the city, on the Place des Cocotiers.

The bandstand is located in the heart of the city, on the Place des Cocotiers. Built in 1883, this historical monument of the penal colony administration was restored in 1986. Many activities are held regularly around the kiosk (garage sales, shows, improv matches.) and its particular configuration with the bleachers all around it, make it an open-air show stage.
