Located in La Foa, South Province, Le Grand Bleu aquatic center features a heated 25-meter lap pool, two leisure pools, and the largest waterslide in New Caledonia, providing a complete aquatic experience for families and sports enthusiasts on Mainland New Caledonia. Aquagym and aquabiking classes are held weekdays and Saturdays. The venue hosts the La Foa freediving club (online booking, +687 79 48 22) and a swimming club (+687 85 45 15). On-site, guests can enjoy a picnic area with farés (traditional shelters), gas barbecue planchas, a snack bar, and a shop offering Le Grand Bleu swimwear, towels, and accessories. Permitted swimwear includes swimsuits, rash guards (lycras), dress swimsuits with built-in bras, and jammer trunks. Prohibited: briefs, boardshorts, regular shorts, swim shorts, tank tops, bras under tops, manous, dresses, and t-shirts. Showers are mandatory before entering the pools. For hygiene reasons, eating and drinking on the pool decks is strictly forbidden. The snack bar and restaurant are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
