Stay with the locals in Poya, on a livestock farm in the middle of nature! Visits, a table d'hôte and bushwalks on site.
Colette Fessard welcomes visitors to her 120 head family-run cattle farm. Her 365 ha property is located along the RT1. It consists of 3 guest chalets and 2 dormitories, with bathrooms, fans, bedding and sheets. The cottage also serves as a table d'hôtes (by reservation). Perfect for tasting typical Caledonian products made from deer, fish, pork and vegetables from the garden.
A member of the Bienvenue à la Ferme network, the farm is open to visitors. You can watch the cattle swim, see the dock for agricultural equipment, the vegetable garden, and the chicken coop.
A range of activities are available nearby: bushwalking or mountain biking, visits to the petroglyphs, a walk to the Gohapin tribe.
